A triad is a three-note chord: a root, a third and a fifth. A major triad uses a major third (4 half steps above the root; C: C-E-G). A minor triad uses a minor third (3 half steps; Cm: C-E♭-G). The fifth is the same in both. Start here with root position prompts. This level’s mastery tracks (inversions, scale degrees) wait for you afterward.
Wrong answers slow progress more than slow ones. Take your time to find the right notes.
Beating a level eventually needs quicker answers, but playing slowly is never penalized while you’re learning.
